Did you know that Nadine Weirather teaches a course at Iowa Wesleyan College as an adjunct professor. She teaches a
Science Methods class to prospective students who aspire to be teachers. Wow! Teaching what a great profession. Summers
off. Now who believes that?

Did you know Katrina (Lind) Altenhofen received the Governor's Commissioner of Safety Award for her work in
occupant protection? Katrina has been involved with child passenger safety issues since the late 1980s. The annual
State of Iowa Commissioner Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated dedication to highway safety. Each year
at the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau meeting, the award is presented to the honoree by the State's commissioner of safety.
Did you know Rick Black combines his favorite pastime and venison recipes with down-home humor? His
most recent book is Trailer Trash Cookin'. This is the latest in a long line of Rick's cookbooks that has the
same style and comedic flair, not to mention home recipes, that helped Rick to sell cookbooks in the first place. Trailer
Trash Cookin' is the 18th in a series of cookbooks that started at the wrong end of a beer, according to Rick.
